A proper maintenance program is important for long-term performance and improved Indoor Air Quality. Test results show that carpet fibre entraps airborne contaminates from the breathing zone. Utilizing approved vacuum cleaners, cleaning chemicals and cleaning methods, the Indoor Air Quality of the facility is greatly improved. Soil prevention with entrance barrier walk-off matting, vacuuming and spot removal should be included in then regular maintenance plan.
