The famous Specsavers slogan “Should’ve gone to Specsavers” is perfectly positioned as not only does it encourage everyday Australians to go and get their eyes tested, but it allows them the opportunity to see more clearly the positive sustainable impact Specsavers and Above Left are having together right across Australia. EcoSoft was presented to Specsavers back in 2009 and then a local Melbourne store became the first of many Specsavers stores to install EcoSoft. Since then EcoSoft has become the staple for all Specsavers stores around Australia and the sustainable footprint that has been left and will continue to do so will help open everyone’s eyes to a more sustainable future thanks to EcoSoft.
We have recently achieved 2,200,000 plastic bottles recycled across Australia in well over 300 Specsavers stores through the installation of EcoSoft. An Appreciation Certificate was presented by Gian Stagliano (Above Left VIC Business Development Manager) to Cathy Rennie Matos (Head of Sustainability, Specsavers ANZ) & Claire Green (Senior Store Design Manager)
EcoSoft contains the equivalent of 50 recycled standard 550ml PET bottles per square metre (putting millions of discarded water bottles to very good use) A true Eco Carpet.
To date Above Left & Carpets Inter has recycled over 930 million bottles as we strive to reach our goal of recycling 1 billion bottles by 2025.
